What do you do?

Solidify awareness. Present solutions.
Right now there seems to be a mist-like awareness among the students and faculty, vague but pervasive, that not-nice things are happening to the planet.
Most individuals will nod with enthusiasm at the hip phrase that is "going green" but demonstrate scarce understanding of how they, personally, have an impact on the environment. Already. Right now. For better or for worse.
How long have you been around? We've been an official club, registered with the student government, VASA, since September '09. So we're coming up on sixth months.
What have you done in that time?
Let's see... We've..
- held a Water Challenge on the sidewalk of 23rd St
- hosted a free and public screening of Flow in SVA's amphitheater
- held a water-themed art show in SVA's Monkey Bar Lounge.
- hosted guest speakers Ann Bastian, Joe Levine, Gerard Koeppel, and Alicia Mehl.
- held a raffle for 10 stainless steel water bottles
- thrown a sign-making party
- created and distributed anti-ad posters
- begun a comprehensive count of recycling units in SVA building
